I moved to California from Saratoga Springs, NY when I was 20 years old and have been a resident of Contra Costa County ever since. On my 21st birthday, I obtained my real estate license and quickly purchased my first property for $32,000. Hence, this was the beginning of my great love for real estate.
I have over 25 years of experience in real estate and firmly believe that everyone should own real property. I have worked extensively in real estate while employed by two real estate investors who bought and sold properties for their own accounts. For 16 years I worked extensively with them in the management of residential income, commercial and retail investments.
I am dedicated to helping others find a way to become property owners or maximize their current investment. I was recently awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation to help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying a rental property, managing capital gains and estate tax implications, moving to a senior community, and other issues.
I have two daughters who have attended Christ the King Catholic School and Carondolet High School. The values and ethics I have established for my daughters speak of my own; honesty, trust, fairness. My oldest daughter, Lauren has made her career in property management. My youngest daughter, Cristin, a graduate of the University of Montana is currently working with me in real estate sales. Outside of the real estate world, I enjoy entertaining friends, gourmet cooking, hiking, and skiing.
