Established in 1997 by East Bay residents, Stephanie and Jerry Stadtler, REMAX Accord has experienced phenomenal growth over the past 20 years. The independently owned and operated company initially started with just a few agents in one location.
Over the next several years, REMAX Accord quickly grew to become one of the leading East Bay Real estate firms with offices in Danville, San Ramon, Pleasanton and Lafayette. With over 200 agents and one billion in sales, REMAX Accord was positioned as one of the strongest real estate brokerages in the Bay Area.
As the market challenges faced the real estate community in the late 2000s, REMAX Accord looked at this as an opportunity to further grow and successfully acquired Valley Properties in Livermore and REMAX East Bay Hills in Montclair. In addition to these acquisitions, REMAX Accord opened offices in Fremont and Castro Valley. The firm's 10th location in Walnut Creek was opened in January of 2014. As of 2017, REMAX Accord employed over 400 Sales Associates with sales of over two billion.
