About Derek Rodrigues

Derek was born and raised in the Bay Area, which has given him a great grasp of local real estate. His knowledge of the current market changes and understanding of the neighborhoods gives him a very unique perspective that is of high value to a Realtor. Derek attended school in the East Bay and is a graduate of the local San Ramon Valley High School. While attending high school, he would work during the summers with his father who works for Re/Max as an agent. Working with his father he has gained many valuable lessons and experiences.

After successfully obtaining his Real Estate license in March of 2006, he quickly began working with Baytek Mortgage, enjoying a successful career, but always having the desire to take his knowledge of home mortgages with him into Real Estate. After working for two years on the mortgage side, Derek decided he would follow his passion and really focus on a Real Estate career. With great success and true love for Real Estate, he couldn't be happier. Always being very involved in the latest and greatest, he uses his drive to be ahead of the curve in technological and educational advancements to your advantage. Consistently staying ahead of the curve and never being outdated is one of his biggest achievements.

One of Derek's strengths is his ability to do extensive research and find his buyers the best home in their desired neighborhood at the price that they can afford. With his background in the mortgage business, he is able to work with lenders and be sure his clients are getting the best loan available in the market today.

When Derek is working with sellers, he feels it is critical to listen to what the sellers need financially from selling their homes. Derek does a thorough market study of the neighborhood and works diligently to get the highest and best price for the home. Constantly implementing creative ideas for marketing homes and consistently using familiar techniques, he strives to provide the most exposure as possible.
