About Jeff Johnston

A native San Franciscan who was raised 10 miles across the Bay in the City of Berkeley, Jeff knows what a great place the Bay Area is to live in!

Five years after graduating from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor's Degree, Jeff elected to venture into real estate as a career. Forty plus years later he has earned a reputation as one of the Bay Area's most respected Realtors, by not only his clients, but also his peers.

Jeff was nominated and elected to serve a three year term on his Association of Realtors Board of Directors. In addition to serving both Contra Costa and Alameda Counties, Jeff works with clients in three North Bay Counties, Marin, Sonoma and Napa.  He also works with clients in Calaveras County, particularly in Murphys and Arnold.

Jeff began his career as a full-time real estate professional in 1978, and just 3 years later obtained his California Broker's License.

Coming from a sports background was helpful to Jeff in accelerating his goal to become successful. "The disciplines are not that different. As in athletics, I found my success in real estate through making strong commitments and being consistent."

Since the early 1980's Jeff has consistently been among the Bay Area's Top Producing Agents and he is a member of two elite Realtor networking groups, "Top Agent Network" and "The Platinum Group." Membership in these groups is by invitation and only 1 in 10 agents qualify. "The Realty Alliance", an Association of the largest residential real estate brokers in America, have presented Jeff with their National Sales Award for ten consecutive years. This award is for "recognition of exceptional performance as one of the leading residential real estate sales professionals in America." On at least 4 occasions, Jeff has been asked to speak at his Association of Realtors General Membership Meetings to share his secrets of success.
